Miami Herald Media Company
The Miami Herald Spelling Bee is among the longest-running local spelling competitions in the US; attracting students from various ethnic and cultural groups. It promotes literacy and helps students develop skills that will benefit them well beyond elementary and middle school. The Herald partners with Scripps National Spelling Bee to bring local schools the opportunity to participate in the national competition.
