Candid is a nonprofit organization, combined from Foundation Center and Guidestar, that provides the most comprehensive data, analysis, and tools needed to track and understand the millions of dollars given to and used by nonprofits around the world. Candid offers publications, including directories of foundation and corporate grant makers (Foundation Directory Online FINs), research advice, custom research, and database searching. The web site includes online training in grant seeking, proposal writing, and funding research, as well as an online librarian.
