Mary Donworth is responsible for the overall investment of United Way of Miami-Dade work in the areas of education, financial stability and health, encompassing strategic initiatives, grant making and grant monitoring, and public policy. A United Way professional since 1990, she oversees a team of professionals and volunteers who develop and implement multifaceted strategies to build a stronger community.

Ms. Donworth represents United Way on various boards, including the local Emergency Food and Shelter Program board and the William Watts Foundation.

Ms. Donworth earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Barry College and a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University. Prior to joining United Way, she worked at a nonprofit in New York focused on international cultural and professional exchange.
