Family Expo

Get ready, Miami-Dade County! The Children’s Trust Family Expo returns on Saturday, August 1, 2026, for its 18th year of helping families prepare for the school year ahead with a day filled with resources, activities, supplies, and entertainment. The Family Expo is the largest free family resource fair for children and families in our community. The event will once again take place at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition Grounds.

Each year, thousands of families attend the Expo to connect with Trust-funded providers and community organizations offering valuable information and services. Parents and caregivers can learn about after-school programs, child care, health and wellness resources, special needs services, family support programs, and a wide variety of enrichment opportunities in arts, sports, STEM, and more.

New this year, families can take part in a fun Scavenger Hunt & Raffle. After receiving a scavenger hunt guide, children and parents will visit exhibits throughout the Expo, collecting stickers along the way. Completed guides can be exchanged for a prize and entered into a raffle for the chance to win even more exciting rewards.

Also debuting in 2026 is a dedicated College Readiness section, bringing together exhibitors that provide information, resources, and guidance for high school students and families planning for college and future career pathways.

Beyond the resources, the Family Expo offers a full day of family-friendly fun, including live performances, games, face painting, balloon artists, and other interactive activities - all free of charge. Whether you're looking for school-year resources, educational opportunities, or simply a memorable day with your family, the Family Expo is your one-stop destination to start the new school year informed, prepared, and inspired.
