Leaders with a Destiny Summit

Leaders with a Destiny Summit is a community-centered youth empowerment event hosted by Alliance Community & Employment Services, Inc. (ACES) on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Miami Dade College North Campus. The summit is designed to inspire, educate, and empower youth, young adults, parents, caregivers, and community members, with a special focus on individuals with disabilities and underserved families. The event will bring together disability advocates, community leaders, professionals, nonprofit organizations, and resource providers to share messages of resilience, leadership, self-advocacy, career readiness, wellness, and community support. The event will include a speaking panel, breakout sessions, lunch, vendor and resource tables, and a backpack giveaway to help students prepare for the upcoming school year. Through meaningful conversations, access to resources, and encouragement from leaders with lived experience and professional expertise, the summit aims to help young people recognize their potential, build confidence, and feel supported as they plan for their future. This event will also create an opportunity for families to connect with local organizations that provide education, employment, disability support, mental health, mentorship, and community-based services.
