Organization Greater Miami Youth Symphony

The Greater Miami Youth Symphony, conducted by Huifang Chen, brings renowned pianist Meng-Chieh Liu to Miami for an all-Tchaikovsky program at the University of Miami’s Gusman Concert Hall on December 14th.  A recipient of the 2002 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Mr. Liu first made headlines as a 21-year-old student, when he substituted for André Watts at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia with three hours’ notice.
