Get ready, Miami-Dade County! Summer is here, and that means it's time for the return of The Children’s Trust Family Expo, the largest, free, family resource event in our community. In 2025, the Family Expo will return to its roots with one spectacular main event to be held at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, as it had for most of its early years.

This amazing venue offers air-conditioning and plenty of space for families to explore and enjoy. Go from one exhibitor to the next, picking up school supplies, learning about valuable resources, and getting information from dozens of Trust-funded providers and other organizations dedicated to children and families. And don't worry, many of the fun-filled activities that children and families love will still be outdoors, soaking up South Florida’s energizing sunshine.

The Expo draws thousands of visitors every year with its excitement, entertainment, and resources for everyone who attends. It's the perfect opportunity for families to come together for a fun-filled day, while also gathering the supplies they need for a successful school year ahead.

The Family Expo is a great opportunity for parents to learn of the various resources and programs available to their children, including after-school and enrichment programs, programs for children with special needs, and public services available to families.

Family Expo and Uber

For the third straight year, The Children's Trust Family Expo is partnering with Uber to make getting to the main event easier than ever. Attendees can use an Uber Voucher to get to the expo and back home. Here's how:

Steps to redeem the Uber Voucher code:

1. Download/open the Uber app
2. Go to the Account section of the Uber app and click on Wallet
3. Scroll down to “Add Voucher code” and enter code FAMILYEXPO25

* Limited Availability. No cash value. One-time use only. Maximum discount of $15 per redemption. Maximum of 2 trips per account. To redeem discount, Uber Voucher code FAMILYEXPO25 must be applied to the Payment section of the Uber app prior to requesting the intended trip. Uber Voucher valid on August 2, 2025, between 9 AM and 4 PM EST. Uber Voucher expires at 4 PM EST on August 2, 2025. Uber Voucher is only valid for rides requested using the Uber App. Taxes, fees, and tips will be covered provided that the value of the Uber Voucher is greater than the total order amount. Offer is non-transferable, subject to change or cancellation. Issues involving redemption and/or use of the Uber Voucher code should be directed to Expo@TheChildrensTrust.org.
