National Adoption Day is a community effort. Child welfare System of Care stakeholders, The Miami Children's Museum, The Children's Trust, and others come together to make the event as special as possible for the children who are being adopted and their new forever families. The event raises awareness in the community at large about the need for foster and adoptive parents, and opportunities to enrich the lives of children in the care and custody of the state.
