Apoorva Kommajosula joins The Children's Trust as a Research and Evaluation Analyst. Ms. Kommajosula earned a bachelor’s in Health Promotion and Behavior at the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Health degree in Global Epidemiology with a certificate in Socio-Contextual Determinants of Health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health.
Previously, Ms. Kommajosula worked as an orientation coordinator for her graduate school and as a graduate research assistant for a study done in collaboration with the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to implement a web-based tool to reduce late effects among pediatric cancer survivors. She also served as the vice president of Internal Affairs for the Georgia Public Health Association, Emory University Chapter in 2020. Ms. Kommajosula is passionate about using epidemiological practices/evidence-based research to address the social determinants of health and to improve child and family health and well-being.
