Bianca Montenegro joined The Children’s Trust in August 2019. She earned her Associate Degree in Psychology from Liberty University. Ms. Montenegro is an AmeriCorps alumni with over 10 years of experience working with children, families and people in crisis. She also previously worked with nonprofit agencies such as Switchboard of Miami as a helpline/lifeline counselor and passionately ran the City of Miami Beach FNSP program, Success University. Bianca speaks fluent Romanian, loves to read sci-fi books and enjoys crocheting.
Programs - Northwest
Garnet brings to The Trust extensive experience in contract administration, operations and procurement management in both the public and non-profit sectors. She has developed and implemented numerous programs that serve to enrich the lives of youth and adults in Miami-Dade County.
She holds a B.A. in Telecommunications from Indiana University, a graduate certificate in Public Management and a Master of Science in Management from St. Thomas University.
Urania (Ury) Vergara joined The Children’s Trust in September 2008. She brought with her extensive experience in government procurement, and contract management of state and local programs serving children and families in Florida. Prior to joining The Trust Ms. Vergara worked as a contract manager for the Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe and served as a community based care contract manager for the Florida Department of Children & Families, District 11 (Miami-Dade and Monroe counties).
Sabine joined The Trust in August 2006. She worked previously as an administrative assistant to the vice president of Florida Atlantic University and also as an account executive with Comcast.
With The Trust, she worked first on the Starter Grant team, moved to Out-of-School and then to her previous position on the Early Childhood & Health Development team.
Mrs. Dulcio earned her B.S. in Health Service Administration from Florida International University.
Kathleen joined The Trust in November 2005. She served previously as the Director of Healthy Families Broward (HFB). Prior to HFB, Ms. Dexter was employed at Children's Home Society, Intercoastal Division (Broward) for 27 years; her last position with the agency was as Director of Program Operations.
Ms. Dexter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of programs in the areas of child and family services, prevention and early intervention, maternal and child health, and developmental disabilities.
