Quality Counts

Quality Counts Logo

High-quality early learning gives children a strong start on the path to college and career. That’s why The Children's Trust is raising the bar of early childhood education, more commonly known as child care, through its countywide Quality Counts initiative. Quality Counts reviews early learning programs according to clearly defined, high-quality standards related to teacher qualifications and learning environment.

Teacher-child interactions are evaluated and supports are provided to help programs reach goals of high quality. Quality Counts is proving that balancing higher standards with professional incentives helps steadily raise the quality of services for young children and families. Choose the best early care and education for your child.
