Michael is a lifelong resident of Miami-Dade County, where he has attended its public schools since pre-K. Currently, he is a junior (11th grader) at School for Advanced Studies (SAS), as well as, a full-time student at Miami Dade College, where he is pursuing an Associate of Arts degree by way of dual enrollment. Throughout his rigorous academic trajectory, Michael has distinguished himself by maintaining a 4.0 GPA in all subjects, without exception, while serving his community in various civic leadership positions and selflessly volunteering a significant amount of his time for the benefit of others.

He is the current Vice President of the Student Government (SGA) of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ District SGA. He is the current Secretary of the Town of Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force and Chairperson of the Town’s Youth Center. Michael also volunteers his time to children related causes including serving as a hospital volunteer, after-school tutor, summer camp counselor and park cleaning crew, to name a few. Through his committed leadership participation in these organizations and noble volunteering, he provides a voice for the county’s children and positively impacts their lives.

Michael is a multiple recipient of the President’s Gold Volunteer Service Award. He participates in several school clubs. He lives with his parents and his brother, who is also his best friend. He enjoys physical fitness, basketball, dancing and travel. Michael’s goal is to attend business school while continuing his civic and community involvement in a dignified and honorable manner.
