Magaly Abrahante, Ph.D., has been an educator for 34 years, and currently serves as the assistant superintendent of schools for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the fourth largest school system in the nation. In this role, Dr. Abrahante is responsible for the supervision of early childhood programs, exceptional student education (ESE) and all Title I programs. Previously, Dr. Abrahante served as chief personnel officer; director of School Choice programs, including charter schools; civil rights compliance officer; school site administrator; and teacher.
Dr. Abrahante is also the proud mother of four children.
