Legacy 5K Walk & Run 2018

United Community Options

Event Description:
Diamond Minds Transformational Leadership Academy and Early Beginnings Academy invite you to the 2nd Annual Legacy 5K Run & Walk at the beautiful Bill Baggs State Park as we celebrate Earth Day by sharing time and experiencing nature with family and friends.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park offers the best views of Key Biscayne. This ideal run venue will captivate your imagination and inspire your feet. Our Earth Day family event begins near the pier and winds through a butterfly garden, nature paths, boat docks, and the Cape Florida Lighthouse. Festive post-race activities begin at 9 a.m. offering families and participants an opportunity to explore outdoor adventures including fishing, swimming, kayaking, and beach yoga. Your registration packet includes a finisher medal, refreshments, and access to our Oceanfront Gathering.

Children under the ages of 2 are free.  All proceeds from the Legacy 5K benefit educational programs for United Community Options which operates programs throughout Miami-Dade County dedicated to ensuring that each child receives a holistic education which nurtures their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs.

We look forward to seeing you there.
