The Family Expo returns with a series of Pop-Up style events in August and September.

The Children’s Trust Family Expo Returns for Children and Families in Miami-Dade

The annual Family Expo returns with four Pop-Up events from late August through September

The Children's Trust is proud to announce that its annual Family Expo, which was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, returns this year with four Pop-Up Style events throughout Miami-Dade County from late August through September. The Family Expo events will take place on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Family Expo was designed to provide children and families in Miami-Dade with a day full of resources, information and fun. At the Pop-Up events, Trust-funded providers and other exhibitors will be highlighting their programs in areas such as child care, after-school programming, arts/sports, STEM, health & wellness, special populations, family services, among others.

This year’s Family Expos will partner with existing community events, bringing even more resources, entertainment and fun to attendees. Face masks and hand sanitizers will be available throughout the event. Like at previous Family Expos, there will be character appearances, music, magicians, balloon artists, arts and crafts, stilt walkers, photo booths and games for the children along with backpack giveaways and other surprises.

“After a year of uncertainty, we are excited that The Children’s Trust can bring the Family Expo back to Miami-Dade,” said The Children’s Trust President and CEO James R. Haj. “Not only does it provide a day of fun for our children, but it also showcases all of the valuable resources available to the families in our communities.”
