The Children's Trust Family Expo, is a daylong festival held at the Miami-Dade Fair & Expo Center. The event features activities and entertainment for the entire family in an effort to provide parents with direct contact to health and social services, as well as educational opportunities. The Expo attracts more than 15,000 visitors a year.
Activities include face painters, clowns, stilt walkers, magicians, storytellers, arts and crafts, bounce houses, rock climbing walls, and music and dance performances. Exhibits feature after-school and enrichment programs, nutrition education, injury prevention, programs for children with special needs, pre-K registration information, KidCare outreach, chess tournaments, a book fair, tennis and fencing, martial arts demonstrations, appearances by beloved storybook characters, mobile units offering community services and much more.
