The Children’s Trust Book Club proudly marks its 5th year at the Miami Book Fair, welcoming hundreds of families and their youngest readers, children ages 0 to 4½ years old, during its highly anticipated two-day activation in the Children’s Alley.

The Children’s Trust Book Club booth will be a vibrant hub of activity, featuring sensory bins, arts & crafts, interactive story times, music and movement sessions, parent workshops, bilingual puppet shows, and art and paint activities. Families enjoyed a welcoming space designed to spark early literacy and creativity, with cheerful signage and playful, branded backdrops creating a joyful atmosphere for all.

The Children’s Trust Book Club is Miami-Dade County’s free early literacy program for families with children from birth up to their 5th birthday . Since launching in 2020, the Book Club has mailed more than 1.6 million books to nearly 48,000 children, helping families build home libraries and foster a lifelong love of reading. Each month, enrolled children receive a new, age-appropriate book delivered directly to their home, along with tips and activities for parents to encourage reading together.

Recently, The Children’s Trust Book Club has expanded its reach by hosting in-person meetups at community locations throughout Miami-Dade County. The Miami Book Fair is one of these special meetups, offering families a chance to connect, participate in hands-on activities, and celebrate early literacy in a joyful, welcoming environment.
