Many of you were at the Literacy Summit on Sept. 24. Work Groups spawned at the summit have continued to meet monthly to prioritize recommendations for an effective Strategic Plan to achieve our goal: Reduce by half the number of third-graders who fail to read at grade level by the year 2020.
