URGENT, Inc.’s SPEAKS Rites of Passage Youth Media Project proudly presents the work of our award-winning middle school filmmakers, entrepreneurs, and published authors. Their accomplishments include eight 15 live action and animation films, 8 comic books, one graphic novel, three poetry books, and an original play series—all showcased across Miami-Dade and Broward. Featured during Soul Basel and on tour, their art tackles real issues like bullying, racial justice, missing Black girls, and community healing.
