Welcome to the Hattie Bauer Preserve, a place that holds both the remnants of the famed Orchid Jungle and a treasure trove of rare plant life alongside historic structures. Join us on a guided tour as we delve into the intriguing history of Orchid Jungle during its glory days, uncover the factors that led to its decline, and discover the ongoing restoration efforts led by the dedicated parks department. Please note that advance registration is necessary for this program. Walk up registration may not be available. Additionally, we remind you that children aged 14 years and younger must be accompanied by responsible adult aged 18 years or older registered for the same program.
