Make a real impact in your community while connecting with nature during EcoAction Days — a monthly, hands-on volunteer event with Miami-Dade County Parks! Join our team of expert naturalists as we work together to restore and protect the natural beauty of our parks and nature centers. From removing invasive plants to planting native species and cleaning up our green spaces, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵. ✨ Earn volunteer service hours — perfect for high school students looking to fulfill graduation requirements or anyone passionate about the environment. 🛠️ 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲: • Removing invasive or non-native plants • Planting and mulching to restore habitats • Picking up litter and keeping nature clean 👟𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: • Closed-toe shoes • a reusable water bottle • sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses) • a positive attitude! 📍 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: • Volunteers under 13 must attend with a parent or guardian. • Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in. • Community service hours are provided at the end of the event. 🌎 Whether it’s your first time volunteering or you’re a seasoned eco-warrior, EcoAction Days is your chance to Live A Park Life and make Miami-Dade greener—together.
