Every student wants to be “SMART”er!
From October 3, 2009 thru May 15, 2010, experienced educators will be available to help your child, in grades K-12, reinforce their school work in a small group setting for FREE.  Students must bring their assignment, text or workbooks, or whatever they want to reinforce and our tutors will guide them.

If you did not pre-register your child/children for the tutoring program, S.M.A.R.T offers a weekly “One Time Tutoring Pass” which is good for a one hour maximum tutoring session each week. A “One Time Tutoring Pass” is good only on the day issued and is issued on a first come, first served basis. Each week, your child/children may request a pass, but passes are only available if space permits.

Students must be able to work independently and follow directions.  Maximum one (1) hour of tutoring per session. Students are expected to arrive on time and no later than 15 minutes past the hour assigned.

Most branches offer S.M.A.R.T. at 10:00 am, 11:00 am and 12:00 pm with the following exceptions:

  • Model City Branch Library – Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p. m.
  • Miami Lakes, West Dade Regional and West Kendall Regional will have additional Saturday hours from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
